Reassuring his people
the troubled people
there yet in the desert
away from the promised land
soon to enter, but would they be faithful
foretelling the prophets
those whom they should listen to
foretelling their future
the need for their witness
faithfulness failing
as it had done before
needing the prophets
ultimately the Savior
to heal their brokenness
what they would do
failing to listen
to future prophets
testing God by their choices
as we each do
