We stand in the breach
running, scurrying
captive by time
the rush of our days
anxious, worried
as if it was ours
yet we forget, deny
who separated the light
the day from the night
all time God’s
a plan for our lives
work we should be doing
not rushing about
being about the kingdom
the call for our lives
doing the work given
focused on the cross
