The Best of God’s Time

We seek control
even over time
not something we made
only what we are given
only for a time
the gift of the walk in this life
not ours to control
given to us by God

We should be conscious
aware of that truth
not claiming time for ourselves
as if we made it on the earth
we should be using
making the best of God’s time
given to us for a purpose
to spread his message of love
not to be wasted
cast upon the dry ground
meant to be planted
a harvest for the Lord
