The God I Worship Loves

We speak of the greatest commandments
what Christ said to us
to love our God completely
to love our neighbors as ourselves

But we miss an important lesson
the rest of what he said
not all the chapters, the verses
the new commandment to us

To love one another,
all people on the earth
to love as Christ loves us
giving his life for us

The God I worship loves
of this there is no doubt
we are called to love all people
all children here on earth
