Up from deep waters
refiner’s fire, our baptism, of God
stepping from the ashes, alive
walking on this path, this life
Rising from the dust
up from the waters, a phoenix
walking by faith, reborn
a new creation in Christ
We are the seeds, the gifts
at the same time the sower
given to the world
to share the joy of Christ
Rising up, we are reborn
up from the depths, the fires
the ashes below us
on wings to the heights.
