the words of the model
prayer
what Christ gave us
calling out to our Father
intimate and real
Abba, Father, Daddy
so close, so present,
urgent
placing God in heaven
but also here, by our
side
we cry out to our Father
all our petitions to the
Lord
our hope only in Him
all may be restored

“Our
Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be they name.
Thy kingdom come,
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory,
forever. Amen.

Thy kingdom come,
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory,
forever. Amen.
