Like the rainbow after the
storm,
our perennials blooming
returning on their own
year on year
in the renewed,
the young garden,
the fallow forgotten places
once tended by loving hands
So too the Father’s love
there whether tended
or forgotten, abandoned
sought or rejected
He will forget us not
offer redeeming grace
whenever we remember
and ask, seek him
