something familiar
not fully smooth, irregular,
somewhat misshapen
each of us a bead
a bumpy bead
together a string
a congregation
part of the prayer circle
standing in union
the body, the joining
the coming together
a string of bumpy beads
together sharing a journey
praying for one another
