Christ’s firm hold – v2

Christ’s firm hold on the sheep

lovingly guarding His disciples

offering himself, a sacrifice

that they would be freed

let go by the soldiers, the demons

all those whom God had given

into his loving care

submitting His body to them

offering up this prayer
