Our lives, our journey
the breath of God over us
over the waters, the void
walking on the stepping stones
some of them hidden
under the sands of time
the swirling water, our journey,
the chaos, the world, wind moving
our steps like whispers on rice paper
leaving faint impressions
or more boldly, as calligrapher lines,
marks on the path
journeying forward together
following our Lord
