a whisper of the Devil
a gust of wind
a sound of this world
breaking his concentration
entering into his consciousness
penetrating his mind.
Beginning to sink
doubting his senses
the truth before him
that he was walking on water
at the call of Christ.
A murmur of Satan
catching him off guard,
causing him to sink.
