for the faith of the young ones

we give you thanks, oh God

for the faith of the young ones

hearts untrammeled by time

we share our joy

within the congregation

for hearts that are open

to the loving hand of God

we pray they would continue

growing in their witness

in becoming the people

you would have them be

help us to love them

to teach, to guide them

sharing the love you gave us

in creation, in the law,

and upon the rugged cross
