I give to God my hurt
no longer holding onto my
anger
forgiving all who have
harmed me
leaving to God judgment,
consequence, all retribution.
I renounce violence
hidden within my heart
I leave that to God.
I praise God for His grace
I exalt God for His mercy
heaped on me abundantly.
I mourn for the judgment
on the others, and on
myself,
who continue in their sin
I pray for their turning
that we would all walk
closer to God.
