How would the world be
different
would there be greater peace
maybe we all need a
five-second delay
before we speak a word
Such coarseness of dialogue
in this modern age
needing a filter, a pause
button
to ponder His teaching
the lesson for the sheep
Would you say that to Jesus
the living Son of God
if He was standing before you
as a friend, a neighbor
someone we feel entitled to
judge
How do you know,
from reading this scripture;
maybe you should ask.
are you sure that His isn’t?
