would we say that to Jesus – v2

we read that we may entertain angels

in the strangers before us

that God comes unaware, like a thief in the night;

but do we ever think about that

before we speak a word of judgment

maybe we all need a five-second delay

before we speak a word

a filter, a pause button

to ponder His teaching

the lesson for the sheep

would we say that to Jesus

if He was standing before us

How do we know, from reading this scripture;

maybe we should ask,

are we sure that His isn’t?
