God provides us
manna, daily bread,
life and life again
all that we need
life for His children
bread for His people
all that we need.
We look to ourselves
by the sweat of our brow
children of Adam
for our wants, our needs;
but we are the sisters,
the brothers, family,
of our Lord Jesus.
God provides for us
all we ever need
our life, our daily bread,
more than the flowers
the lilies of the field;
we must cleave to Him
we must trust and believe.
