Martha’s words to Mary
in this later story
when Christ arrived after
Lazarus died
so unlike her words to Jesus
when Mary sat at His feet
“The Teacher is here;
He is looking for you,”
offering Mary an exit
time to go to Jesus
while she stayed in the
house
A change in Martha
understanding completely
what was important
bringing Mary to Jesus
not pulling her away.
