no more darkness
no anger, no hate
may Light hold my hand
into the Light
may the Spirit guide my path
never lingering in darkness
never going astray
from the path you have for
us
I have claimed the words
those gifted by God
but I have not rejected the
shackles
the hold that darkness held
on my life, on my soul
I reject them now
going further
into your hands
I give my spirit.
