I spoke to the shepherds

proclaiming the Good News

Christ’s coming from heaven

God come to earth

I shouted praises

with the heavenly choir

we knew the story

why God came down

I spoke to the shepherds

on the hilltop that night

bringing the Good News

of Christ’s birth in Bethlehem
