In his own ministry
an authentic witness;
Peter could share
the truth of that night.
Able to share,
“I have denied Him.”
What better witness
to the truth of God’s grace?
He could understand
each disciple’s struggle;
Knowing completely
the truth of our journey.
Able to share
the grace of redemption;
God’s forgiveness
paid on the cross.
