The water the same
the challenge just as real;
Winds still blowing
over the face of the deep.
The earth so like the void,
chaos,
changed by the hand of God,
His breath;
His voice still calling to
us,
“Come, follow me”.
To walk on solid water
given substance by our faith;
Believing it will hold us
by trusting in our God.
Following Christ’s calling,
the words of the indwelling
Spirit;
Walking humbly ever
sharing this message of God.

We
Can Walk on Water – v2
Like
Peter, you and I
we
can walk on water
trusting
in Christ
our
eyes ever on Him;
Ignoring
the winds all around
reaching
ever for Him
going
where He calls us.
Like
Peter, you and I
longing
to walk. to journey,
in
the footsteps of Christ
in
the way of the disciples;
Needing
to climb over the gunnels
to
live by our faith
to
stand on solid water.
