This question of God
exasperation, musings
knowing fully the message
the indictment of the people
spoken in heaven aloud
before Isaiah’s listening ear.
A calling, fateful
rising, to be feared,
God’s question murmured,
“whom shall I send?”
answered by Isaiah,
“Here I am, send me.”
