Somehow we forget
the depth of God’s grace,
His radical love changing
the face of the earth
We are to start with empathy,
seeing ourselves in our
neighbor,
offering love in Christ’s
name
in service and grace
We must take on their
struggle,
honoring their humanness,
forgiving even our enemy
going the way of the cross
