So hard to give up,
the things that we acquire
holding onto our treasure on earth
when Jesus is calling,
“go, sell, give, and follow me”.
Our lives for the earth
the world around us
so long as the treasure
keeps us from God
Let go of our fortune
the grain in the silos
Cleave to the cross
and the one who died there
Our hope, our treasure
in the kingdom before us
our work, our service
here below
Sell all our treasure
our barriers to the Lord
Trust in the provision
of our daily bread
Spread the good news
the grace of the father
the sacrifice of the son
our only way home
