Standing in the throne room
before the presence of God
the heavenly beings
singing praises to the Lord
ever mindful of his sin
Would he have been so quick to offer
to say, “Here I am. Send me,”
if he had known would have been asked of him
the judgment of the Lord
hardening the hearts of the people
that his will be done
