Sometimes difficult
change uncomfortable
yet God’s love calls
us to open our hearts
Welcoming strangers
those who are different
going when we are called
that they too may enter in
All of us strangers
lower than our maker
all with feet of clay
made from the dust of the earth
Each of us sinners
needing his grace to save us
his sacrifice on the cross
for any to be clean
None better, more worthy
all estranged from the creator
all needing the spirit
to give us new birth
