Like the potter
with his hands on the inside
and the outside of the bowl
molding us, on the wheel
Shaping us, chiseling
the rough edges
the rough-hewn stone of our lives
giving to his loving hands
Submitting our lives
our bodies given over
preparing us
new eyes, new bodies
living in the new Jerusalem
