Christ Will Soon Be Here

We wait with confidence
trusting in our Maker
Christ will soon be here
to bring us home to glory

We can be patient
believing in His goodness
resting in His presence
guiding our trembling feet

The days of Advent
reminding of God’s promise
His fulfillment in the coming
of the humble child of Bethlehem
the man upon the cross
the King who is to come
to bring His people home
