Because of God coming
descending as Jesus
taking on our sin
climbing the rugged cross
Because of God coming
walking as a man
redeeming us to Him
offered to all of man
Despite all these things
the trials of our days
slings and arrows of this world
following your loving ways
Nothing to fear in this life
the victory already won
only to follow our Master
until our days here are done
We can be at peace, victorious,
while the storms rage around us;
nothing can truly touch us
with God in our corner
