Joy in Our Eyes

Open your hearts
let down all inhibitions
sharing God’s love more freely
with joy in our eyes

We should be praising
living our lives as worship
especially in this season of waiting
offering others the face of Christ

Preparing the fields for the harvest
readying our own trembling souls
fearing not Him coming
when He comes to bring His people home

We are the sheep of His flock
born of His resurrection
going on to glory
when Christ comes in victory
