A Little Sooner

All of us called
to hasten that day
the day when Christ will come again
to make it come a little sooner

Giving more of ourselves
offering our joy
sharing Christ with the whole world
so all would know God’s love

Showing Love to all we meet
even to the strangers
going from our comfort
shining light in the darkness

Work to do in our waiting
expectant for our King
serving as he would lead us
doing all we can
