All in God’s Time

The balance, the journey
the metronome swinging
the pendulum moving
time upon time
All things in their season
turning, turning
all in God’s time
while we wait impatient
wanting to control
to chart our own course
yet flailing about
from task to task
reeling, turning
spinning out of control
the illusion bursting
release in the giving
in letting go
in turning the wheel over
God knows where to go
