God offers us rescue

Holding out His hand
the offer of His love
the sinking ship we are on
God’s offering
a lifeboat of love
Christ’s hand offered
bearing the scar of the nails
God’s gift reaching for us
to gather us in,
to set us free
safe on God’s fertile shore
