Judas came to the grove,
to the garden, Gethsemane
bringing the soldiers, the others
there to capture the Christ
there to arrest the Savior
the one he had betrayed
in some ways he had brought the cup
the one Christ was to drink
the bitterness of his kiss
betraying the one he loved
