Pilate’s Question - v2

Pilate judging Jesus
but finding no fault
in Caesar’s palace
Christ naming himself a king
of the highest heaven
that he speaks truth
before the nations

Pilate’s question,
“What is truth?”
yet not waiting for an answer
a pause, moving on
sending him to death
fearing the answer
the cost on his hands
