Already in Hell, in the pit, Sheol
the rich man, by his choices,
suffering in his soul
Lazarus in heaven
his earthly suffering no more
a seat beside Abraham
the father of the faithful
Pleading too late
for mercy from God
yet convicted by his own damning
now trembling in Sheol
