He came to Jesus at night

The scholar, the leader
not wanting to be seen
knowing the power
the witness of the Christ
He came to Jesus at night
seeking the truth, the light
yet bound by tradition
the words of the law
not seeing believing
struggling with the word
the holy message of the Christ
the Son, the living Word
