painted with grains of sand – v4

Painted with grains of sand
dipped in winter light;
pure sparkle, diamonds
on each filament, reaching,
every blade of grass.

Facets of the crystals -
twinkling as I drive.
Holding God’s light, a prism,
sparks of glinting color, alive!
Fingers of Jack’s paint strokes,
cast in frozen white

The hills ablaze with sunlight
shimmering, the fields afire;
morning just begun,
filaments of sparkle;
painted before the sun.
