Mary
was living at the beginning
living
in real-time
unaware
of the rest of the story
the
way things would end
Without
the knowledge of Easter
only
knowing what was
living
in the moment
unlike
all of us
Yet
she is the one who sang
She
is the one who submitted
giving
her life to God
and
giving to His calling
She
sang to the Father
the
servant song, Magnificat;
humble
me with her,
let
me do Your work
We
know the story, the future
for
we know the past
God
faithful to us
raising
us at the last
Christ
came as a human
as
a human he walked the earth
by
his suffering, his resurrection
we
all have new birth
Lead
us, like Mary
let
us join her Song
let
us sing with the angels
joining
the heavenly throng
Christ
shows us the way
the
Spirit guides our feet
let
us share the holy message
until
the whole world believes
