a palette of autumn-winter
shades
of brown, of gray,
hidden,
in wonder
under
the frozen morning
in
white and rainbow
painted
by Jack Frost
in
glitter and sparkle
held
for a few moments only
until
they started to melt

many vistas of white over the reeds and grain stalks, as
