like taffeta of frost – v3

Taffeta of frost

fabric of light

a brocade of sheer fibers

a cool mist descending

a presence falling, bright

a weightless cloak

her calling to You.

For the Holy Spirit

Your love, Your essence

to bodily come down

to fall down upon us

offering us blessing;

Oh Spirit, descending,

fall down on me.

Fill this simple space

this place made sacred

set apart from the world;

holy fire fall quickly (urgent)

come down upon me;

Let me feel your presence

alight upon me.
