Like our mother’s womb
safe, in our infancy,
wrapped by the presence of
God
the living waters holds us
surrounded by God’s love
drenched in these waters
the Spirit abiding
living, alive within us
saturated by God’s grace
Drinking in God’s spiritual
waters
everlasting, a spring
flowing
renewing us ever
living waters rising
giving life, flowing
lapping upon us
washing over us
these waters of God
flowing over us
Washing us clean
down into the waters
cleansed of our lives
our sins washed away
a clean heart to live
in the way of God
forgiven, renewed
living a new life,
transformed,
grounded in the waters
Diving into the waters
richly flowing, swimming
the continuum of grace
faith to protect us
joining all the others
to be infused in us
permeating our beings
the living waters with us
with us on the journey
