a better way

what we think of as a no
God’s answer to our prayer
not a no but a better way
something better in mind
God’s ways are higher
His thoughts beyond ours
we think of one thing
but God is a thousand steps ahead
knowing already
the plan for our lives
not a no but a better way
leading us closer to God

a better way

Twitter post by Inspirational Women:

“God only gives three answers to prayer:
1. Yes!
2. Not yet.
3. I have something better in mind.
My comment in response:
I like this; it is not that God answers “No”,
it is that the Creator of the universe says,
"I have a better way." Wow!
