we cannot imagine
our minds not able
what we think of as a no
God’s answer to our prayer
not a no but something
better
a better answer than what we
ask for
God, in His mercy, gives us
what we truly need
God’s ways are higher
His thoughts beyond ours
we think of one thing
but God is a thousand steps
ahead
knowing already, completely,
the plan for our lives
not a no but something
better
leading us closer to God
