I spoke to Zechariah – v2

I spoke to Zechariah

in the Holy of Holies

in the Temple in Jerusalem

I spoke to him of John

the baby, the prophet

fulfilling the prophets

to make a way straight

to prepare for the Lord;

but he did not believe

and I struck him silent

for doubting, for questioning

the word of God
