why don’t you cut off the disease
why do you allow the pain
the hurt to continue;
do you hear me, Lord,
when they attack,
when the leaders do not help,
when our protectors are silent,
seemingly indifferent;
those who are blind to the hurt
what they have gotten away with,
still earning a paycheck,
we cry out for justice.
