Chaos, the void, nothingness,
unbounded, without limit
only the breath of God
moving over the waters;
Given definition, shape,
in the one word, “Light”,
spoken from the mouth of God.
In an instant, birthed, Light
separated from the darkness,
God shining brightly
over all of His creation;
the Word alive, creating;
God’s Spirit moving
over the dark waters.
