For over a thousand years, generations,
the same words spoken each year, each time;
The ritual of the Haggadah repeated,
the people sharing the Passover Seder.
Christ changed the ancient words
these ordained words of remembrance;
A new covenant with humanity
through His body and blood.
These words of the Christ Jesus
our Risen Messiah remembered;
Two thousand years later
still a blessing upon all of us.
