giving to the chisel

we submit to the Master

our marble compliant,

giving to the chisel

the work of the Sculptor;

Our clay returning

climbing the wheel

we welcome the Potter

His touch of love

the hand of teaching

trusting His urgings;

we give to the chisel

choosing to yield

we embrace the forge

the hammer, the anvil

offering to bend

to conform to the teaching;

we follow Christ’s way

submitting to God
