A visible texture, powder,
not needing to touch them;
seeing the softness, the
velvet,
their beauty this morning.
The wet apple blossoms
blanketing the street;
the grass covered,
white by their feet.
Talcum powder petals,
like cool paper between my
fingers;
soft, light, yet laden
with water from the street.
